Christmas time and the entire holiday season in New York is a fantasy for native New Yorkers and tourists. Shopping is hectic, but the decorations and music keep the festive spirit alive.

Sales are everywhere from Macy's and Express to the small boutique stores along 5th Avenue.

Who doesn't feel like a kid as they watch the skater's in Rockefeller Center at Christmas and look up at the towering tree that holds it's own against the giant buildings on all sides?

Even the hustle and bustle, the busy beat of Manhattan, slows to the tune of Christmas music pouring from the churches, stores and street musicians. The Rockettes annual Christmas Show at Radio City is a must see for children from 2 to 102!
