taxi: Despite their reputation, many New York cabbies
now speak in clear English, accept credit cards, and sport

- Hail
a metered yellow taxicab on any street corner, or
find a taxi stand at either of the two major airports,
LaGuardia
or JFK,
or at either of the two main train stations, Grand
Central and Penn
Station.
